"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened,...
Posted On 12/02/2008 06:38:47

"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained."

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah, Radi-Allahu 'anh: Allah's Messenger,sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained."

Al-Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 123

Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaydullah, radi-Allahu 'anh: A bedouin with unkempt hair came to Allah's Messenger,sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards the prayers." He replied: "You have to offer perfectly the five compulsory prayers in a day and night, unless you want to pray nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards fasting." He replied, "You have to fast during the whole month of Ramadan, unless you want to fast more as nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Tell me how much zakat Allah has enjoined on me." Thus, Allah's Messenger, sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, informed him about all the fundamentals of Islam. The bedouin then said, "By Him Who has honored you, I will neither perform any nawafil nor will I decrease what Allah has enjoined on me. Allah's Messenger, sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, said, "If he is saying the truth, he will succeed."

Al-Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 115

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah, radi-Allahu 'anh: Allah's Messenger, sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, said, "Fasting is a shield. So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting." The Prophet, sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward him for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times."

Al-Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 118

Narrated by Sahl, radi-Allahu 'anh: The Prophet, sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa-sallam, said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

Islam - World Religion

Islam - World Religion     "Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that you may be witnesses upon mankind." (Qur'an: Translation of the meaning, 11:43)

Islam was destined to become a world religion and to create a civilization which stretched from one end of the globe to the other. Already during the early Muslim caliphates, first the Arabs, then the Persians and later the Turks set about to create classical Islamic civilization. Later, in the 13th century, both Africa and India became great centers of Islamic civilization and soon thereafter Muslim kingdoms were established in the Malay-Indonesian world while Chinese Muslims flourished throughout china.

Islam is a religion for all people from whatever race or background they might be. That is why Islamic civilization is based on a unity which stands completely against any racial or ethnic discrimination. Such major racial and ethnic groups as the Arabs, Persians, Turks, Africans, Indians, Chinese and Malays in addition to numerous smaller units embraced Islam and contributed to the building of Islamic civilization. Moreover, Islam was not opposed to learning from the earlier civilizations and incorporating their science, learning, and culture into its own world view, as long as they did not oppose the principles of Islam. Each ethnic and racial group which embraced Islam made its contribution to the one Islamic civilization to which everyone belonged. The sense of brotherhood and sisterhood was so much emphasized that it overcame all local attachments to a particular tribe, race, or language-all of which became subservient to the universal brotherhood and sisterhood of Islam.

The global civilization thus created by Islam permitted people of diverse ethnic backgrounds to work together in cultivating the various arts and sciences. Although the civilization was profoundly Islamic, even non Muslim "people of the book" participated in the intellectual activity whose fruits belonged to everyone. The scientific climate was reminiscent of the present situation in America where scientists and men and women of learning from all over the world are active in the advancement of knowledge which belongs to everyone.

The global civilization created by Islam also succeeded in activating the mind and thought of the people who entered its fold. As a result of Islam, the nomadic Arabs became torch-bearers of science and learning. The Persians who had created a great civilization before the rise of Islam nevertheless produced much more science and learning in the Islamic period than before. The same can be said of the Turks and other peoples who embraced Islam. The religion of Islam was itself responsible not only for the creation of a world civilization in which people of many different ethnic backgrounds participated, but it played a central role in developing intellectual and cultural life on a scale not seen before. For some eight hundred years Arabic remained the major intellectual and scientific language of the world. During the centuries following the rise of Islam, Muslim dynasties ruling in various parts of the Islamic world bore witness to the flowering of Islamic culture and thought. In fact this tradition of intellectual activity was eclipsed only at the beginning of modern times as a result of the weakening of faith

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE PROPHETS
Posted On 12/02/2008 06:32:27
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE PROPHETS     Around 637 AD, a strong Muslim army that had laid siege for months on end in Jerusalem eventually ended the Byzantine rule there. However, Orthodox Christian patriarch Sophronius refused to hand over the key of the city except to the Caliph Omar Ibn Al-Khattab himself. Under strict orders from his Commander-in-Chief, the Muslim general did not force his way into the city but rather dispatched a messenger to Medina, the capital city of the fledgling Caliphate. Against all odds, Omar, the second Caliph who ruled from 634-644 AD, decided to undertake the long journey in the company of just one servant. During the arduous trip, Omar would alternate riding a single mule with the servant.

A few weeks later, Omar arrived at the gates of Jerusalem, but it happened to be his turn to walk while the servant rode. Upon seeing them, the Patriarch automatically handed the key to the rider, assuming he was the Caliph. Omar's modest appearance, wearing old patched-up clothes, did not give him away easily.

The city was conquered peacefully and Omar made a treaty with the religious minorities dwelling within. All Christians and Jews were to be treated equally under the law. They were to keep their properties, including holy places, and would have complete freedom of religion.

When the time for prayer came, Omar was urged to pray inside the Church of Holy Sepulcher, but the wise Caliph declined. He opted instead to pray outside at the site where the Dome of the Rock stands today, arguing that the act of praying within the Holy Church might give future Muslim generations a false pretext to appropriate the church and turn it into a mosque.

Omar's selfless act of religious tolerance was to reverberate for generations to come. His wisdom, which he acquired from the finest teacher, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), set a precedent for Muslim future generations. His actions showed that the source of true faith was tolerance and respect for other belief systems, especially for the People of the Book: Jews and Christians. The Qur'an was clear about the message, "Let there be no compulsion in religion," and was also clear about how the People of the Book are to be treated: "And do not argue with the People of the Book except in a most kindly manner... and say that we believe in that which was revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto you, and your God and our God is one and the same, and it is unto him that we surrender ourselves."

The three faiths co-existed peacefully until the Crusaders from Europe came to Jerusalem. For the first time in the history of the three Abrahamic faiths, intolerance divided them and triggered a conflict that would last hundreds of years.

In 711 AD, Muslims conquered Iberia (Spain and Portugal today) from the barbarian tribes of the Visigoths, and within seven years, their rule extended all over the peninsula.  While most of Europe was sunk in the Dark Ages, a great Islamic civilization shone in what was known as Andalusia. The city of Cordoba became the largest, wealthiest and most civilized city in Europe and the world. It had streetlights, paved roads, beautiful architecture, 700 mosques, 300 public baths, 70 libraries and even a system of flushing toilets. Scholars from all over Europe flocked to Cordoba to learn and marvel at its distinct beauty. Even Western historians acknowledge that much of Cordoba's flourishing was due to Muslim tolerance. Many Jews, who had been viciously persecuted under the Visigoths, were allowed to prosper and practice their faith in relative peace along Muslims and Christians.
The south of Andalusia (southern Spain today) became an asylum for the oppressed Jews of other parts of the world. Andalusia became the center of Talmudic study, and the meeting-place of Jewish scholars.

The one lesson to be learned from Andalusia as far as Muslims are concerned is that Muslims thrived most when they co-existed peacefully among Christians and Jews. Muslim Spain showed that tolerance was the true catalyst for a great civilization. And it is not just religious tolerance, but also tolerance of racial diversity, political opinions, freedom of expression, etc.  If we look at any great civilization we would realize that it was brought down by either intolerance or moral decadence. What makes America great is the terms of the Constitution with which the Founding Fathers knitted the socio-political fabric of this country. America did not rise fully as a great civilization until it granted women the right to vote, outlawed racial discrimination and became more inclusive of minorities as well as other religions.

Despite past intolerance and the fact that all faiths have had their share of it, today, Christianity, Judaism and Islam live side-by-side in healthy co-existence.  The hundreds of churches, synagogues and mosques that are sometimes literally across the street from each other are a testament to that. However, as a result of war, violence and terrorism in the world, the need for greater understanding and better relations between followers of the three faiths becomes of paramount importance. Interfaith groups and leaders have redoubled their efforts in order to bridge the divide between the Abrahamic faiths in particular and other faiths in general. The Islamic Center of Southern California has a full time school that teaches students about Hanukkah and Rosh Hashanah. Jewish students in many private schools learn about Ramadan and are taken on field trips to visit mosques and churches.

Christian leaders reach out to imams and Muslim community leaders in times of need and often share an iftar dinner with them during the holy month of fasting. The Emmanuel Presbyterian Church is notorious for holding interfaith gatherings that are designed to increase awareness of other faiths, urging interfaith groups to work towards common causes, and taking the message of tolerance to all communities.

The one thing that all prophets preached, besides the worship of one God, was tolerance.  The three faiths established a precedent both in Jerusalem and Muslim Spain and today in America. It was only when the children of Abraham showed respect for each other and were accepting of diversity that they achieved harmony and prosperity. Tolerance is what builds civilizations. It is the stuff that true men of God are made of.  Tolerance is the essence of faith.

Jesus (P) speaks of Mohammed (P) in the Bible
Posted On 12/02/2008 06:28:04

We present here some traditions attributed to prophet Jesus (pbuh), in which he speaks of Prophets, Muhammad (pbuh). The traditions are naturally in the form of prophecies, since Prophet Jesus lived before the time of Prophet Muhammad. But they have value not merely as prophecies: they also provide one of the most beautiful tributes to the glory of the Prophet of Islam ever written. The traditions are from a version of the Gospel of Barnabas compiled by a thirteenth century Italian on the basis of early Christian sources (see footnotes).

Jesus said, "Philip! God is a Good without which there is nothing good: God is a Being without which there is nothing that has existence; God is a Life without which there is nothing that lives. He has no equal. He had no beginning, nor will He have an end, but to everything has He given a beginning and to everything shall He give an end. He has no father nor mother; He has no sons, nor brethren nor companions."

Philip answered:

"Master, what sayest thou? It is surely written in Isaiah that God is our father: how, then, hath He no sons?"

Jesus answered:

"There are written by the prophets many parables, wherefore one ought not attend to the letter, but to the sense. For all the prophets, that are one hundred and forty-four thousand, have spoken ambiguously. But after me shall come the Splendor of all the prophets who shall shed light upon the ambiguities of all that the prophets have said, because he is the Messenger of God.

"Verily, I say unto you that every prophet when he is come has borne the mark of the mercy of God to one nation only. And so their words were not extended save to the people to which they were sent. But the Messenger of God, when he shall come, will be given as it were the seal of the hand of God, insomuch as he shall carry salvation and mercy to all the nations of the world that shall receive his doctrine. He shall come with power upon the ungodly, and shall destroy idolatry for, so promised God to Abraham, saying: 'Behold, in thy seed I will bless all the tribes of the earth; and as thou hast broken in pieces the idols, O Abraham, even so shall thy seed do.'

"I therefore say unto you, that the Messenger of God is a splendor that shall give gladness to nearly all that God has made, for he is adorned with the spirit of understanding and counsel, the spirit of wisdom and might, of fear and love, prudence and temperance; he is adorned with the spirit of charity and mercy, of justice and piety and gentleness and patience, which he has received from God three times more than He has given to all His creatures combined. Blessed will be the time when he shall come to the world! Believe me that I have seen him and have done him reverence, even as every prophet has seen him. And when I saw him my soul was filled with consolation, saying, 'O Admirable One! God be with thee, and may he make me worthy to untie thy shoe-latchet for obtaining this I shall be a great prophet and holy one of God.'

"As for me, I am now come to the world to prepare the way for the Messenger of God, who shall bring salvation to the world. By the living God, in whose presence my soul stands, I am not the Savior whom all the tribes of the earth expect."

Then said the Priest:

"How shall the Savior be called, and what sign shall reveal his coming?"

Jesus answered:

"The name of the Savior shall be the Admirable One, for, God himself gave him the name when he had created his soul, and placed it in celestial splendor. God said, 'Wait O Admirable One (=Muhammad), for thy sake I will create paradise, the world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereas I make thee a present, insomuch that whosoever shall curse the shall be cursed. When I send thee into the world, I shall send thee as My Messenger of Salvation, and thy world shall be true insomuch that heaven and earth shall fail but thy faith shall never fail. Admirable One is his blessed name."

Then the crowd lifted up their voices, saying:

"O God send Thy Messenger. O Admirable One come quickly for the salvation of the world."

Footnotes

1) John 14: 15-16, John 15: 26-27, John 16:5-8.  All three sections have references of the "Comforter".  The original word used in Greek language is 'Parqaleeta', however you may find it referenced in some Bibles as the 'Comforter', other Bibles use 'Spirit of Truth", and other Bibles use 'Holy Spirit'.  The actual meaning of the original Latin word 'Parqaleeta' is 'one whom people praise exceedingly.'  The sense of the word is applicable to the word 'Muhammed' in Arabic.

2)  If you visit the birth place of Jesus (pbuh), and look at an Arabic Christian Bible, you will find Allah is the reference for God.

3) If you look at a Red-Line Bible (all the text attributed to statements made by Jesus (pbuh) highlighted in Red), and only read the red line text, you will never find a single reference where Jesus (pbuh) ever said that he is God, or explicitly spoke once of the trinity.

If you believe Allah is One, and do not associate any partners with him, then you are nearly a Muslim. If you believe in the possibility that Mohammed (pbuh) can be one of the 125,000 prophets sent to mankind, delivering the simple message of worshiping the One God, without any associates.  Not 1 in 3, or 3 in 1.  Just One God

Forty Utterances [Malfuzat] of The Most Venerable Shaykh, Amir-E-Millat Hadrat Sayyid Jamaat Ali Shah Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi [May Allah sanctify his mighty secret!]

(Translated by Asif Jehangir Naqshbandi Jamaiti)

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

He (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

If the name of Allah is uttered even once with the tongue, it is the dhikr (remembrance) of the tongue; if Allah is remembered once with the heart, then that is equal to thirty five million utterances (dhikr) of the tongue. Such is the dhikr of the heart. There are 35 million blood vessels in the body, and all are connected to the heart. If Allah’s name is uttered even once (with the heart) then all the vessels utter it too.

In a river, a boat travels on the water and the greater the amount of water, the more at ease the boat will be. However if that very water enters the boat, it will capsize. The heart is as the boat and the sorrows and heartaches of the world are the water; everyone’s boat has sunk except that of the people of Allah—those who do dhikr—which always stays afloat.

Allah [May He be Exalted!] has created Hell for the enemies of the Holy Messenger [sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam] and Paradise for those who are his lovers. Those people who worry about whether they will go to Heaven or Hell after death, should ask themselves whether they are lovers of His Excellency (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) or amongst his enemies.

"Kullu jadeedin lazeezun"; you may like every new thing of this world but in your Faith [Deen] you must stick with the same, ancient, Islam as that of your Predecessors.

If a man has bad (sinful) actions [‘amal] so be it, but Allah forbid that his Belief [‘aqeedah] is bad. In a hadith it is written that run from a leper as you would from a lion; those with bad Belief are lepers of the heart—protect yourself from them, in fact do not even sit where they have sat.

Constant contemplation [fikr] about prayer [salat; namaz] is given the name prayer i.e. a person is busy doing some work but his heart is always thinking about the (next) prayer so that sometimes he asks about the time, sometimes he looks at his watch, at other times he looks at the (position of) the sun, to make sure that he doesn’t miss the (correct) prayer time. Until such contemplation is achieved, the prayer is just a ritual and a habit which is being performed. May Allah Almighty grant us such contemplation!

If a farmer uses a plough all his life but does not plant the seeds, can his crops grow? Of course not! Using the plough is fasting [sawm], prayer [salat], pilgrimage [Hajj] and sowing the seeds is charity [zakat]. If one does not give zakat, all his praying, fasting and making the pilgrimage is in vain.

If two tasks need to be performed, one for the Faith [Deen], the other for the world [dunya], then perform the one for the Deen first. Through it’s blessing [baraka’] the worldly task will also be achieved.

Every supplication [dua’] has two wings: lawful earnings, and a truthful tongue. Whoever earns through lawful [halal] means and speaks the truth, his supplication will definitely be accepted.

Whoever asks from you in fact does you a favour, for he asks you for a paisa [a hundredth of a rupee] and Allah rewards you for (giving) it seven-hundred fold.

Saying, ‘La ilaha il Allah’ (there is no god but Allah) makes one a muwwahid (monotheist), not a Believer (mu’min). So when will you become a Believer? When you say ‘La ilaha il Allahu Muhammadur Rasul Allah’ (there is no god but Allah (and) Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah). For us the greatest blessing (ni’mat) is that of Iman (Faith).Even Satan recites ‘La ilaha il Allah’, but why is he still known as the Accursed? He (even) says, ‘Inni akhafullaha Rabbal aalamin’ (Verily, I have fear of Allah, the Lord of the Worlds). All the different groups in the world are believers in the Oneness of God [tawhid], whether they be bhangis, choorhay-chamaar,Christians, or some other group, but why are they accursed (mala’un)? Because they only say, ’There is no god but Allah’ but omit ‘Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’.

When the blessed name of the Chief of Both the Worlds (Muhammad), sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, comes on one’s tongue, all one’s lifetime of blasphemy [kufr], polytheism [shirk], and all one’s sins are erased.

In this day and age it is common to hear that do not praise His Excellency (Muhammad), sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, beyond his limit. But only one who knows a limit can go beyond it. If someone does not know the limit, how will he exceed it? Apart from Allah Almighty no one knows the limits of the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam); reading his noble kalimah once is enough to wipe out a lifetime’s sins! This much we do know about his limits:

Muhammad Mustafa, O Kaif, is praised by Allah

Forget about Man: no one can truly praise him!

Muhammad is the Divine Secret, his secrets who knows?

In shar’iah he is a man, in reality [haqiqah] God knows!

In , ‘Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’, there is laudation [na’at] of the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam; those who do not like the Prophet’s laudation [na’at], should also refrain from saying, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."
The earth does not eat the bodies of the Prophets, neither does it touch them. The Prophets pray [perform namaz] in their graves. Use analogy [qiyas] then, and think what the state of The Prophet will be like (in his grave).
The Messenger of Allah, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said that whoever sends salutations upon me I will answer his salutations.
His Excellency (Muhammad), sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said that whoever sends blessings [durud-i-sharif] upon me with love, I hear it with my own ears.
The Holy Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam ,after veiling himself from this world, is, without doubt, alive and still upon his Prophethood (in his blessed grave) and is pleased by the worship and good deeds of his Community [ummah] and saddened by the sins and disobedience.
A loose, unbridled, camel never reaches it’s destination and wherever it goes it is beaten and hit. A camel in a line (of camels) however, no matter how thin and weak it is, definitely will reach it’s destination.
The body has been given to use, and not to nourish and make fat:
You must awake, so awaken now, whilst beneath the heavens’ shadow

You shall have until Judgement Day to sleep --beneath the earth’s shadow!

By putting one’s head on the dust (in prostration), a man becomes purified:

What right do we have to put our feet on the ground

When, in prostration, we’ve never put our head on the ground?

Do not stay in the company of people with incorrect beliefs [aqidah], in fact do not even sit where they have sat.
Wherever the water touches during wudu’[ritual washing], that place will not burn in the hellfire.
If after mendicancy [faqr], the faqir becomes a dog of the world [dunya] again;
The fool after being purified, has become embroiled in filth again!

In the verse of Surah Fatiha, ‘Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom You have favoured’, there is proof of taqlid and its necessity.

"Fatta bi ‘u millata Ibrahima hanifa’n". There have been 124, 000 prophets but this command, "Therefore follow the religion of Ibrahim who was separate from every falsehood" proves that it is obligatory [fard] to do taqlìd of an Imam.

Everybody’s grave will be dark but the grave of those who pray the tahajjud prayer will be full of light. The reading of the Ayat ul Kursi (Verse of the Throne) after each prayer (namaz), and the Sura (beginning with)Tabarakulladhi each night will definitely result in there being no punishment in the grave.

Just as it is obligatory [fard] to send blessings [durud] upon the Holy Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) during the prayer [salat], likewise it is also obligatory to send blessings [durud] upon his Family [Å l], otherwise the prayer will not be (valid).

Nothing is had before it has been destined [qismat] and before it’s appointed time [waqt].

Allah Ta’aala has created the heart [dil] for his remembrance [dhikr], and has not created it for worries.

When people from previous nations sinned, there faces used to metamorphose but His Excellency, the Holy Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam), declared, "Allah the Pure will not change the faces of those who believe in me."

The Day of Judgement [qiyamat] will come when from amongst Allah’s servants, no one remains to pronounces Allah’s name.

Respect the great men of religion [buzurg], if they become angry (with you) then there is no hope for salvation. To insult one is to insult them all. If a chicken lays a rotten egg, then even if that one egg is placed beneath a thousand other chickens, a chick will never emerge from that egg.

Read the Word of Allah (Qur’an) only for Allah. Reading it for worldly reasons [dunya], is like giving rubies in exchange for a few worthless pennies; it is another matter if, after reading for Allah, Allah Himself gives you worldly benefits for the sake of your reading (for Him).

He who has no shame [ghairat] has no faith [iman].

To accept an invitation (to dine) [dawah] is Sunnah. His Excellency the Holy Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said that even if someone makes you an invitation which is at a distance of three miles away, and invites you for something simple, you should still attend.

At the time of entering Madina Sharif , you must pay full attention to its etiquette [adab]. At the very least, one’s facial appearance should be that of a Muslim: the latest fashions, and hairstyles, etc. should be avoided.

If one wishes to give anything in the way of Allah, one should do so in one’s own lifetime. After we die, neither our wife nor our children will give anything in our name; in fact, it will be difficult even for them to come to read the Fatihah at our graves!

If there are ten people doing dhikr and one person who is abstaining [ghafil], the remembrancers [dhakir] will make the abstainer radiant too [nurani].Staying [suhbat] with company wherein Allah’s dhikr is performed will bring contentment.

It is said that after death the dead person does not receive spiritual reward [thawab]. The situation is this, that the soul does not die; when the soul does not die, why then will it receive no reward?!

PROPHECY OF MUHAMMAD(SWW) IN HINDU VEDAS
Posted On 27/01/2008 08:02:00
Prophecies In Atharva Veda

Atharva Veda X, 2, 28: [On Ka’bah]

Whether it is built high, its walls are in a straight line or not, but God is seen in every corner of it. He who knows the House of God, knows it because God is remembered there.

The Ka’bah is not exactly cubical and its sides are not of the same length. The Holy Sanctuary (Haram) of which Ka’abah is at the center remains open day and night throughout the year and it is always filled with people praying to Allah (the One True God). Muslims face toward it during prayer forming circle in the Haram (Holy House) and the circle extends out in this manner throughout the planet Earth.

Atharva Veda X, 2, 31:[On Holy Sanctuary (House) and Ka’bah]

This abode of the angels has eight circuits and nine gates. It is unconquerable, there is eternal life in it and it is resplendent with Divine light.

The holy sanctuary (Haram) of which Ka’bah is at the center remains open day and night throughout the year and it is always filled with people praying and supplicating to Allah (the One True God). It has remained unconquerable. Abraha Al-Ashram, the Abbysinian viceroy of Yemen, tried to demolish it in 570 CE with a strong army and hordes of elephants but was prevented from entering the city (Holy precinct). The people of Makkah had decided not to defend the Ka'bah, fled the city and took refuge in nearby hills overlooking Ka'bah. By Allah’s Command, the 'Abaabeel' (flying creatures, birds) pelted stones at Abraha's army and decimated it, leaving them like green crops devoured by cattle. This incident is described in the Surah (chapter) 105 of the Qur’an. The year 570 CE is popularly known by the Arabs as ‘The year of the Elephant,’ and Prophet Muhammad was born in that year.

Dr. Vidyarthi points out the following facts. The House of God has nine gates - Baab-e-Ibrahim (Abraham) , Baab-al-Wedaa, Baab-as-Safa, Baab-e-Ali, Baab-e-Abbas, Baab-un-Nabi, Baab-as-Salaam, Baab-az-Ziyarat, and Baab-e-Haram. Further, the eight circuits are the natural lines enclosing the areas between the surrounding hills, the names of which are: Jabal-e-Khaleej, Jabal-e-Qaiqaon, Jabal-e-Hindi, Jabal-e-Laalaa, Jabal-e-Keda, Jabal-e-Abu Hadidah, Jabal-e-Abi Qabees, and Jabal-e-Umar.

Atharva Veda X, 2, 33: [On Abraham and more on Holy Sanctuary and Ka’bah]

Brahma (Abraham) stayed in this abode which is illumined by heavenly light and covered with Divine blessings. It is the place that gives (spiritual) life to the people and is unconquerable.

The Ka’bah was built by Prophets Abraham and Ismail. It has remained unconquerable as explained in the preceding verse. Many verses of the Holy Qur’an and of the Old Testament in the Bible describe the divine blessings in this Holy house.

Prophecy In Sama Veda

The Sama Veda contains many prophecies of the advent of Prophet Mohammad. Here, one of them is presented. It is found in Sama Veda, II:6,8:

"Ahmad acquired religious law (Shariah) from his Lord. This religious law is full of wisdom. I receive light from him just as from the sun."

Prophet Muhammad’s other name was Ahmad (both are from root letters h, m and d), both words have the meaning the “praised one” except the latter emphasizes a higher degree to it. The Holy Qur’an states that Prophet ‘Isa (Jesus, pbuh) mentioned the last Prophet’s name as Ahmad.

Prophecy In Rig Veda

Rig Veda V, 27, 1:

The wagon-possessor, the truthful and truth-loving, extremely wise, powerful and generous, Mamah [Mohammad] has favored me with his words. The son of the All-powerful, possessing all good attributes, the mercy for the worlds has become famous with ten thousand [companions].

It refers to ten thousand companions who accompanied the Prophet in the triumphant entry of Makkah and cleansing of Ka’bah of Idols and other profanities.

More Prophecies In Hindu Scriptures

The Vedas contain many prophecies about Prophet Muhammad. Some European and Hindu translators of the Vedas have removed the name referring to the Prophet, while others have tried to explain away the mantras (verses) on his life events, Ka’bah, Makkah, Medinah, Arabia, and other events using the terminology of the Hindus, such as purification rituals, and lands and rivers in India. Some mantras containing prophecies are inter-mixed with explanatory phrases, and it may be that these were commentaries and explanatory notes on the prophecies, which later became a part of the prophecy.

Several prophecies are found in Atharva Veda: (1) XX: 21, Mantras 6, 7, and 9, (2) XX: 137, Mantras 7 through 9, and (3) X: 2, Mantras 26, 27, 29, 30, and 32. Similarly, in Rig Veda, additional prophecies are found in: (1) VII: 96, Mantras 13 through 16, and (2) I: 53, Mantras 6 and 9. Finally, a prophecy is found in Sama Veda III: 10, Mantra 1. These are a sample of many prophecies. The serious reader may want to refer to scholarly work of Dr. A.H. Vidyarthi, entitled “Mohammad in World Scriptures,” 1990. This book explains the Hindu terminology used in the Mantras and the meaning and usage of certain words and phrases from within the Vedas and other Hindu Scriptures.

Do the unbelievers not realize that the heavens and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?
The Qur'an 21:30
He created seven universes in layers. You do not see any imperfection in the creation by the Most Gracious. Keep looking; do you see any flaw? Look again and again; your eyes will come back stumped and conquered.
The Qur'an 67:34
God's ultimate power and the atom concept
You do not get into any situation, nor do you recite any Qur'an, nor do you do anything, without us being witnesses thereof as you do it. Not even an atom's weight is out of your Lord's control, be it in the heavens or the earth. Nor is there anything smaller than an atom, or larger, that is not recorded in a profound record.
The Qur'an 10/61
Geological Fact
When you look at the mountains, you think that they are standing still. But they are moving, like the clouds. Such is the manufacture of GOD, Who perfected everything. He is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
The Qur'an 27:88
The creation of human beings
(The first revelation - The Embryo)
Read in the name of your Sustainer, Who has created man out of a germ-cell!Read, for your Sustainer is the most Bountiful One, Who has taught man the use of the pen, taught man what he did not know ! Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: for, behold, unto your Sustainer all must return.
The Qur'an 96/1-8

Statements referring to human reproduction and development are scattered throughout the Qur'an. It is only recently that the scientific meaning of some of these verses has been appreciated fully. The long delay in interpreting these verses correctly resulted mainly from inaccurate translations and commentaries and from a lack of awareness of scientific knowledge.
Interest in explanations of the verses of the Qur'an is not new. People used to ask the prophet Muhammad all sorts of questions about the meaning of verses referring to human reproduction. The Apostle's answers form the basis of the Hadith literature.
The translations of the verses from the Qur'an which are interpreted in this paper were provided by Sheik Abdul Majid Zendani, a Professor of Islamic Studies in King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
"He makes you in the wombs of your mothers in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness."
This statement is from Sura 39:6. We do not know when it was realized that human beings underwent development in the uterus (womb), but the first known illustration of a fetus in the uterus was drawn by Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century. In the 2nd century A.D., Galen described the placenta and fetal membranes in his book "On The Formation of the Foetus." Consequently, doctors in the 7th century A.D. likely knew that the human embryo developed in the uterus. It is unlikely that they knew that it developed in stages, even though Aristotle had described the stages of development of the chick embryo in the 4th century B.C. The realization that the human embryo develops in stages was not discussed and illustrated until the 15th century.
After the microscope was discovered in the 17th century by Leeuwenhoek descriptions were made of the early stages of the chick embryo. The staging of human embryos was not described until the 20th century. Streeter (1941) developed the first system of staging which has now been replaced by a more accurate system proposed by O'Rahilly (1972).

The Future Of The Universe
It is not known if the universe will expand forever, or if one day it will begin to contract. In either case, the future of all the inhabitants of the universe could be rather bleak. If the expansion continues, after billions of years, all the energy of the sun and stars will be exhausted and every living thing will freeze to death. Eventually, only the expanding emptiness will remain. Alternatively if there is enough mass in the universe, gravity will one day stop the expansion and then contraction will begin. A contracting universe would ultimately end in a very hot and compressed state called "The Big Crunch." This would also destroy all life forms, as we know them.
Besides the above two depressing and purposeless scenarios of the future, there is an another possibility. Some physicists feel that time may reverse when the universe begins contracting. This prospect has a striking resemblance to the Quranic description of the Day of Judgment.

The Future Of The Universe As Described In The Qur'an
Now, let us turn our attention to the verses in the Quran that describe the beginning, the expansion and eventually the contraction of the universe. There is marked similarity between the Quranic revelation and recent discoveries in cosmology. The Quranic verses however, go far beyond modern cosmology in describing the future of the universe. The Quran gives us insight into laws of the universe that are yet to be discovered the laws of the contracting universe.

The Big Bang
The universe came into existence billions of years ago with a tremendous explosion called "The big bang." This is clearly mentioned in the Quran in the following verses:
Chapter: 21, Verse: 30
Have not "those who disbelieve" known heavens and earth were of one piece,
We parted them and, We made every living thing of water
Will they not then believe?
The discovery of "The Big Bang" and that of "The aquatic origin of life" was made by the non-Muslims, ("those who disbelieve"). When the universe began all matter and space (heavens) was at one point
(one piece). Then everything was separated in what the physicists describe as "The big bang." The evidence that the universe began in the "The big bang" is so overwhelming that it is now considered a fact and not just a theory.

The Expansion Of The Universe
The Universe has been expanding since its creation. Hubbell, an astronomer made this great discovery,
in the early part of this century. It was also predicted by Einstein's theory of "General Relativity."
The expansion of the universe is clearly mentioned in the following Quranic verses:
Chapter: 51, Verse: 47
The heavens, We have built with power and, We are expanding it.

The Expansion Of The Universe
AND THE REVERSAL OF TIME
Time is one of the most elusive mysteries of the universe. No one knows what time really is. Albert Einstein explained time by saying that time is something that we measure with the clock. Time passes slowly within objects moving at speeds close to that of light and stops altogether at the speed of light. Time also slows near massive objects like earth, sun, very dense stars called the neutron stars, and almost stops inside the super massive stars "the black holes." Time has a direction, it always moves towards the future. We see rain falling from the sky, objects breaking up, people getting older, and people dying. We do not see a glass becoming "unbroken" or anyone returning from the dead. That could happen only if time ran backwards. Some physicists like Michael Berry, Thomas Gold, and Steven Hawking have proposed that time may reverse when the universe begins to contract. Verses in the Quran suggest that one day the universe will start contracting and this will coincide with beginning of the Day of Judgment and reversal of time.
WILL WE NOT REGRESS TO NOTHINGNESS WITH THE REVERSAL OF TIME?
To an inquiring mind, it may occur that the time reversal may raise us from the graves. What will happen then? Will we continue to grow younger, pass through our childhood and regress into nothingness in our mother’s wombs? This is also what time reversal theories say, again a purposeless exercise. Well not quite so! The thought of the great and final earthquake may instill fear into our hearts, but the real purpose is to make the higher dimensions accessible for escape from the collapsing universe. Allah has designed the universe with great precision. After the resurrection, arrangements have been made, to escape the unrelenting effect of time reversal, to beyond this universe. To understand how that will happen we need to grasp the concept of higher dimensions and black holes in space.

WHEN WILL THE DAY OF JUDGMENT ARRIVE?
Chapter: 33, Verse: 63
Men ask you of the Hour. Say the knowledge of it is with Allah only.
What can convey to you that may be the Hour is near.
Chapter: 29, Verse: 53
They bid you to hasten on the doom.
And if a term had not been appointed,
The doom would have definitely come on them.
And it will come upon them suddenly
When they perceive not.
It seems that if we knew the rate at which the expansion of the universe is slowing, then we should be able to predict when the Day of Judgment will begin. If time is related to the expansion of space, we cannot observe the slowing of the expansion. As an example, consider a car with its clock connected to its wheels in a way that the speed of time would depend on the speed of the car. If the car slowed-down the clock will also run slowly and speed of the car if calculated, using the slowed clock would always appear the same. Similarly as the expansion of the universe slows, our time and our motion also slows, therefore the rate of expansion will appear the same. Paradoxically the expansion in the far-reaches of the universe which depends on the increase of total intervening space may even seem to be faster when measurements are made with our slower time.
Chapter: 53, Verses: 57, 58, 59
The threatened hour is near.None beside Allah can disclose it
Are you surprised then at this statement?
Even the most advanced civilization in the universe would always observe that the universe is expanding at the same steady rate or even faster then with what it started. This means, that the beginning of the Day of Judgment cannot be predicted. Only Allah, who is independent of time, knows of the real timing of the Day of Judgment.

GUJARATH TERROR
Posted On 12/01/2008 04:34:37

Just now i saw the CD of Gujarath Terror. i think no one will imagine to kill a human being like that even if he's a proffessional killer. Burnt man and women, childrens, raped childrens, girls, womans aged more than 40 and unthinkable of rapping so many PREGNANT LADIES. Any human will start crying after seeing those scenes. This is the world of Satin.

so what is the reason for allthese things, happening against muslims and even a single activity not gone against those who are following the evil?????? Just think.. we, muslims are fighting with ourself and not with others. this is the opportunity what the evils are utilising at a right time. UNITY, is not in our Muslims nowadays.

All Muslims are going with the world not bothering about whats happening with our Muslim peoples. even if any thing happens, they all do only one thing without pain.. is Dua. is this enough at this time...?

Just remind the Sahabees who fought against the evils(kafirs), and got killed for whom...? for us only.. because of them only we are living as Muslims, but not fully just namely Muslims. The Almighty has made their heart like that because their Ee-man was very Strong. they fought against their fathers, brothers, sons and all against the people who went Against Allahu Thalaa..

But what is the situation now...?

We are becoming slaves to the Evils not to the Almighty Allah.. we are living for this world forgetting the Final day. The Solution is very simple and possible one. that is UNITY, UNITY, UNITY....

WE MUST BE IN ONE UNIT. WE MUST THINK ABOUT THIS. WE MUST GET READY TO FIGHT AGAINST THE EVIL. DO NOT GO IN TERRORIST ACTIVITIES. LOVE EACH MUSLIMS. BECAREFUL OF THE EVILS (KAFIRS). DO NOT MAKE FRIEND SHIP WITH THEM OR TAKE SHELTER FROM THEM.. THIS IS ORDERED BY THE ALMIGHTY IN QURAN..

DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS,PLS DO NOT HATE ANY MUSLIMS. DO NOT SAY ANYTHING WRONG ABOUT ANY MUSLIMS TO ANY ONE. SUPPORT ALL. THIS IS THE TIME FOR ALL OF OUR YOUNGSTER TO BE IN ONE UNIT. WE ARE ALL MUSLIMS AND SLAVES OF ALLAH.

"O!, ALLAH, PLEASE GIVE US THE STRENGH TO FIGHT AGAINST THE EVIL AND GIVE THE VICTORY. PLEASE MAKE ALL OF OUR MUSLIMS IN ONE UNIT.".. AMEEN

Assalamu alaikum
