Here is the Muslim view on Christian thought. Of question are the chosen twelve apostles of Jesus, several female disciples including Mary Magdalene, his mother and brothers, the apostle Paul who came along later, disciples Timothy, Barnabas, Mark, Luke, along with hundreds of other people who died martyrs for their faith in Jesus. Of question also is some Book of knowledge Jesus supposedly had. Muslims would believe that the apostles, who were chosen to follow Jesus by Jesus himself, later discarded the Book of knowledge, knowing full well that the fire of hell was their destination; next they all decided to write their own version of events as to the life of Jesus and his ministry falsifying events so that it fell into some scheme to deceive all the peoples of the world; next these apostles all ministered to the peoples these false teachings; next these apostles all died for this falsified story of Jesus, none recanting but all dying horrible deaths taking their false stories to the grave with them. Muslims would believe that the apostles, who were chosen by Jesus and followed Jesus throughout his life on earth, would all die for a false story which they invented on their own. How Stupid Is This Belief!? Would you, after meeting a servant of God and following this servant of God, receiving a Book of knowledge (supposedly), having seen Jesus' miracles, having heard Jesus' wisdom and proverbs, having known Jesus personally as a servant of God, later discard the Book, reject Jesus, invent your own story and die for it, knowing you would go to Hell on top of everything?! Would you do such a thing? How Ridiculous to even conceive such a belief. Is it not more likely and plausible that the apostles all wrote of the things they actually witnessed and believed in? After having seen Jesus, the miracles that he did, his death on the cross and later resurrection; is it not more likely that the apostles and the hundreds of other followers of Jesus, would actually write the truth and later be murdered for their beliefs? Is it not more likely they knew they would see paradise and heaven and died for their faith in Jesus? Truly this is more likely.
If Jesus had written his own testimony, it would be counted worthless. If I, myself write that I went to heaven and saw God, would you believe me? If I wrote to you that I died and rose again, would you believe me? Why should you? Why would anyone believe the word of one man? But now, say many witnessed Jesus’ ministry on earth; many saw his miracles; many heard his words and his sayings, his proverbs and his wisdom; many saw Jesus fulfill his words by going to the cross, dying and later rising to life again on the third day; many saw him later ascend to heaven after his resurrection from the dead; that many would then write about all of this, that many would write the same accounts of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus; that many would later be murdered for what they Saw, Heard and Believed. Is this not more believable? Having many witnesses only proves the gospels of Jesus just as they are written in the Bible. This is the manner by which God chose to communicate to the world, the life, works, death and resurrection of his servant Jesus. Why? Because witnesses count. Witnesses are key to anyone's testimony. (the test of two to three witnesses, Deuteronomy 19:15, 17:6, Mathew 18:16, John 8:13-18) (Quran, test of two to four witnesses, sura 4:15)
The fact that the Quran denies the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus only shows me that the writers of the Quran falsified this fact, (sura 4:157). Regardless of whether the Quran was written by angels (fallen?) and handed to Muhammad; the Quran has No witnesses to its claims. The Quran stands by itself. The gospels of Jesus stand by many witnesses. Having witnesses is a biblical truth and God expects a person to believe another who has a minimum of two to three witnesses (testimonies) and obviously Jesus had hundreds. God will not hold a person guilty for believing a story which has many witnesses. On the other hand, God may hold a person guilty for believing in a book that has no witnesses and calls a lie an account which has many witnesses.
God bless you through Jesus Christ our servant of God. For God chose Jesus to serve as a sacrifice for our sins and we may go to God believing this. It is through this sacrifice that we are justified and have access to God.
