Once Moosa (AS) asked Allah Ta'ala: O Allah ! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you given this privilege to any otherperson? Allah Ta'ala replied, O!! Moosa during the last period I am going to send an ummat, who will be the Ummat of Mohammed (SAW) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger- will call out to me (in dua) they will be much much closer to me than you O Moosa! while you speak to me there are 70000 veils between you and me but at the time of iftaar there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting Ummati of Mohammed (SAW) O!! Moosa I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of iftaar I will never refuse the dua of a fasting person! Subhan Allah!!
Christians claim that Christianity is based on the life and teachings of Hazrat Isa (Jesus Christ). They believe that God sent Hazrat Isa as the savior of mankind. But Christianity in its original form was nothing but Islam. Hazrat Isa (as ) taught his people that God is one and He has no partner, no son, no father and that he is his messenger. Today Christians believe that Hazrat Isa is son of God and is a par t of God. They call him the lord of the universe and associate him with God. This is totally against the true and original teaching of Hazrat Isa (as ). The Quran tells us very clearly that Hazrat Isa (as ) did not say what Christians believe but he said what we Muslim believe. Quran also confirms that the true followers of Hazrat Isa (as) were Muslims.
“And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine messenger: They said,We have faith and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims.” (5:111)
“Then Allah (S.W.T) will say: Isa, son of Mariam, did you ever say to mankind: ‘Worship me and my mother as gods besides Allah? “Glory to You,’ he will answer, ‘how could I say that to which I have no right? If I had ever said so, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my mind, but I can not tell You what is in Yours. You alone know what is hidden. I spoke to them nothing except what You bade me. (I said): ‘Serve Allah (S.W.T), my Lord and your Lord’. I watched over while living in their midst, and ever since You took me to You, You Yourself have been watching over them. You are the witness of all things. If You punish them, they surely are Your servants; and if You forgive them, surely You are Mighty Wise.” (5: 116-118) This shows that the Christian’s claim that they follow the teachings of Hazrat Isa is not correct. Hazrat Isa had never taught what Christians believe today. Thus the true followers of Hazrat Isa are not Christians but Muslims. Muslims also believe that Injil was the Divine Book which was revealed to Hazrat Isa by Allah (S.W.T). The present Bible (New Testament) which Christians believe as a Divine Book is not the original Divine Book (Injil) which was revealed to Hazrat-e-Isa. Thus, Muslims strongly believe that Hazrat Isa was the true messenger of Allah (S.W.T) who taught the basic beliefs and teachings of Islam. Today Christians do a lot of things which are totally against the teaching of Hazrat Isa. The religious center of Christianity is Rome, which was never even visited by him. Thus, history shows that Christianity has no connection with Hazrat Isa and his basic teachings. Thus, both Jews and Christians claim that their religion is based on monotheism, but they don’t believe in the absolute oneness of God. Quran reveals:
“The Jews call Uzayr a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth. They imitate what the unbelievers of old times used to say. Allah’s curse be on them, “How they are deluded away from the truth.” (9:30) The religions such as Hinduism and Zoroastriaanisim etc., have been so badly changed that it is difficult to trace out their origin. We can not say anything about their original teachings and original beliefs. Buddhism, Jainism, Confucianism, Shintoism, and Sikhism are the thoughts of human minds and cannot be considered as Divine religion.
Judaism in its original form was nothing but Islam. Jews still believe in Hazrat Moosa (Moses) who was a true messenger of Allah. The name of Hazrat Musa (as) has appeared 136 times in 37 different chapters of the Holy Quran. Hazrat Moosa (as) is among the five great prophets. Allah Subhanahu taala has admired his sincere efforts and great contribution in the Quran.
And mention in the Book Musa. For He ( Hazrat Musa ) was an apostle, a prophet , and a chosen man. (19:51) Hazrat Musa ( as ) preached to his nation, the Ten Commandments, which are described in the Holy Quran. He taught his people that, There is no god except Allah and I (Musa) am His messenger. Just as the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (sws), Torah ( Taurait ) was revealed to Hazrat Musa ( as ). Quran has confirmed that Taurat was a true Divine book which was revealed to the Prophet Musa (as ).
“He has revealed to you the Book with the truth, confirming what preceded it; and he has already revealed the Torah (Laws of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) for the guidance of mankind, and the distinction between right and wrong.” (3:3)
“It was We who revealed the Torah (law to Moosa): therein was guidance and light”. (5:44) But today the religious book of Jews, the first five books of the Bible, which is called the Pentateuch or the Old Testament or the Torah, is not the same book which was revealed to Hazrat Moosa (as ). Thus Muslims believe that Taurait, the original religious book of Jews, is a true Divine book which was revealed to Hazrat Musa (as ) from Allah but do not recognize the present Torah as a Divine book as it has been changed. It is important to note that some of the unchanged traditions of Hazrat Musa (as) which Jews could not change and which they still observe are present in Islam. For example; Jews still practice circumcision which is also compulsory in Islam. Jews do not eat pork which is also strictly forbidden in Islam. Jews do not eat shrimps, and other kinds of shellfish. Jews follow certain acts of Islamic slaughtering. Jews spiritual leaders Rabbis keep beard and cover their head. Jews observe burial formalities as soon as possible.
It is intersting to note that Christians, who also recognise Hazrat Musa as the Prophet of God and consider Torah as the part of their Bile do not follow any of the above laws.
Jews also believe in Hazrat Ibrahim ( as ), the great prophet of Islam and the ancestor of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (sws ). The grandson of Hazrat Ibrahim (as ) was Hazrat Yaqoob ( Jacob ), who was also called Israel. He had 12 sons. They founded the 12 tribes that became the Israelites. Over a period of time, many of them (the descendants of Hazrat Yaqoob) settled in Egypt, where they eventually became slaves. In the 1200’s B.C, Hazrat Musa (as) freed them from the captivity of Firaun ( Pharaoh ) and led them out of Egypt to Cannon (Palestine ). It is unfortunate that the followers of Hazrat Musa and the descendants of Hazrat Yaqoob and Hazrat Ibrahim (as) were the staunch enemies of the Holy Prophet (sws)

Though the followers of every religion say that their religion is the only true religion, but none other than Muslims can prove it rationally. Let’s give some strong points in support of our belief that no one can disprove them on valid grounds. Muslims never claim that Islam is a new religion, but believe that it is the first and the oldest religion which was revealed to the first man and the first Prophet, Adam (as ) who arrived on the planet earth by the order of Allah Subhanahu taala. Muslims believe in the basic teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (as), Prophet Musa (as), Prophet Isa (as) and assert that Prophet Muhammed was the last prophet of all prophets who testified and completed the Divine message. i.e. all prophets from Hazrat Adam (as) to Hazrat Muhammad (sws ) have the same basic beliefs. The Holy Quran is the only Divine book which is present in its original form and has never been slightly changed or adulterated or corrupted in anyway. No other book claimed as Divine book is available in its original form or in the same language in which it was revealed. Islam covers each and every aspect of human life and gives complete guidance in every field of human interest. It has complete code of perfect life. No other religion has such complete course of social laws. The basic beliefs and social laws of Islam never collide with each other. Also, the basic beliefs and fundamental teachings of Islam and the established facts of science show compatibility with each other. This is not true with any other religion of the world. Islam tells us very clearly, from where we have come, why we are here, and where we will ultimately go. Islam clearly defines the aim of our creation and the purpose of our life. All other religions do not answer these basic questions so clearly. Islam is the only true monotheistic religion which teaches us to believe in the absolute oneness of God. Christians claim that they believe in one God but they also believe in trinity, i.e. they say 1+1+1 =1 which is not correct. Similarly Hindus claim that they also believe in one God but they worship many gods.
We shall now prove that the original teachings of Judaism, Christianity and many other religions testify the basic beliefs of Islam. These religions are now different because they have been changed by the people to fulfill their selfish demands.
Upon the authority of al-Bara' ibn `Aazib who said: We went out with the the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) to a burial of a man from the Ansar (original inhabitants of Madina) until we arrived at the grave, and he still had not been placed in the slot of the grave. Then the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) sat down and we sat around him. You would have thought that birds were upon our heads from our silence, and in the hand of the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was a stick which he was poking the ground with. [Then he started looking at the sky and looking at the earth and looking up down three times]. Then he said to us: "Ask Allah for refuge from the torment of the grave", he repeated this command two or three times. [Then he said O Allah I seek refuge in you from the torment of the grave] [three times]. Then he said: "Verily, the believing servant, when leaving this life and journeying to the hereafter angels will descend upon him, their faces will be white as if they were suns, they will have with them a shroud (kafan) from the shroud of Paradise), and an embalmment (HanouT) from the embalmments of heaven. Then, they will sit within eye-shot of him. Then the angel of death (peace be upon him) will come and sit at his head and will say "O you virtuous soul; come out to a forgiveness and a pleasure from your Lord ". So it will come out as a drop comes out of the mouth of a jug (with ease), then he will take it, not leaving it in his hand for longer that a blink of an eye until they (he and the other angels) have placed it in that shroud and that embalmment. And there will emanate from it a smell like that of the most sweet smelling musk on the face of the earth. Then they shall ascend with it, and they shall not pass with it by any group of angels but they will say: What is this good and sweet-smelling soul?. Then they shall say to them (he is) "such" the son of "such" choosing the best of the names he used to be called in this life. Until they reach the lowest sky, then they shall ask permission to enter, and they shall be granted entry, until they end at the seventh heaven sky, then Allah, exalted and high, shall say: "write the book of my servant in `illiyeen (1) [And what will explain to you what Illiyeen is `illiyeen, there is a register fully inscribed to which bear witness those nearest to Allah (see 83:18)], and his book will be written in `illiyeen, and the shall be said "return him to the earth, for [I promised them] I have created them from it, and into it I shall return them, and from it I shall extract (resurrect) them a second time (20:55)". So [he is returned to earth and] his soul is returned to his body [he said and he will hear the footsteps of his friends who buried him when they leave him]. Then two [severe] angels shall come and [terrify him and] sit him up next to them and shall ask him: "Who is your Lord?". He shall reply "My Lord is Allah". Then they shall ask him: "What is your religion?". He shall answer them: "My religion is Islam". Then they shall ask him "Who is this man who was sent among you?". He will reply "He is the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) peace be upon him". Then they shall ask him "What have you done?". He shall reply: "I read the book of Allah, then I believed in it and accepted it". [The angel will terrify him and ask him "who is your Lord?", "what is your religion?" "who is your prophet?", and this will be the last trial on earth for the believer, it is then when Allah says : "Allah will establish in strength those who believe with the word that stands firm in this world", so he will answer my Lord is Allah, my religion is Islam and my Prophet is Mohammad salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam. Then a caller will call from the sky: "My slave has spoken the truth, so spread out for him from the heaven, and clothe him from the heaven, and open a door for him from the heaven (within his grave)", so it's goodness and its smell will come unto him, then his grave will be expanded for him as far as he can see. Then a man will come to him. His face will be handsome, and his clothes will be handsome, and his smell will be sweet. Then he shall say unto him: I bring you glade tidings of that which will make you happy [Rejoice with a pleasure of Allah and delights that endure]. This is the day that you were promised (46:16). Then he will say [and may Allah give you glad tiding] "who are you?, for your face is the face of someone who comes with good news". He shall reply: "I am your good deeds, [by Allah, I did not know of you but that you were quick to the obedience of Allah and slow to His disobedience, so may Allah reward you good]". Then he shall say: "My Lord bring the hour so that I might return to my family and my wealth" [it will be said to him "be tranquil"]. He (Mohammed, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: { And the disbelieving [transgressor/wicked] servant}, if he is leaving this life and journeying to the hereafter then angels will descend upon him, their faces will be black, they have with them a coarse woolen fabric (sackcloth)[ made of fire]. Then they will sit within eye-shot of him. Then the angel of death will come and sit at his head and will say "O you wicked soul; come out to a anger from your Lord and a fury (from Him)". So it will be distributed (spread out) throughout his body, then it will be ripped away as a skewer/spit is ripped out of damp cotton [and in its way out it will tear and cut the nerves and blood vessels] [and then he will be cursed by all the angels between the earth and the sky and by all the angels in the sky, and the gates of heaven are closed. There is no gate in the heaven but its people supplicate that the wicked soul shall not be ascended to their side], then he will take it (the soul), not leaving it in his hand for longer than a blink of an eye until they have placed it in that sackcloth. And there will emanate from it a stench like that of the most evil smelling corpse on the face of the earth. Then they shall ascend with it, and they shall not pass with it by a group of angels but they will say: What is this wicked soul?. Then they shall say to them (he is) "such" the son of "such" choosing the most hated of the names he used to be called in this life. Until they reach the lowest heaven (sky), then they shall ask permission to enter, and they shall not be granted entry. Then the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) recited "The doors of the sky are not opened to them, nor shall they enter heaven until the camel passes through the eye of the needle" (7:40). Then Allah, exalted and high, shall say: "write the book of my servant in Sijjeen (2)(83:7) in the lowest earth". [Then will be said "return my slave to the earth, for I promised them I have created them from it, and into it I shall return them, and from it I shall extract (resurrect) them a second time (20:55)"]. Then his soul shall be taken away [from the sky] with a mighty hurl [until it is cast into his body]. Then he (the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) read: "and those who associate partners with Allah, They are as one who falls from the sky then is snatched by the birds or is cast by the wind into a very low place (22:31)". Then his soul will be returned into his body, [he (the prophet) said : verily he will hear the footsteps of his friends who buried him when they leave him]. Then two harsh severe and fearsome angels shall come and [terrify him and] sit him up and shall ask him: "Who is your Lord?". He shall reply "Huh?, Huh (this is an expression of sorrow), I don't know". Then they shall ask him: "What is your religion?". He shall answer them: "Huh?, Huh?, I don't know". Then they shall ask him "Who is this man who was sent among you?". He will reply "Huh?, Huh?, I don't know [I heard people saying that!]". He (the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said "And then will be said to him don't ever know and don't ever recite!"]. Then a caller will call from the sky: "My slave has spoken falsely, so spread out for him from the hell fire, and open a door for him from the hell fire (within his grave)", so its heat and hot wind will come unto him, then his grave will be contracted upon him until his limbs are caught up among one another. Then a man will come to him. His face will be ugly, and his clothes will be ugly, and his smell will be vile. Then he shall say unto him: I bring you tidings of that which will harm you. This is the day that you were promised (70:44). Then he will say [and you, may Allah give you bad tiding] "who are you?, for your face is the face of someone who comes with evil". He shall reply: "I am your evil deeds [by Allah, I did not know of you but that you were quick to the disobedience of Allah and slow to His obedience, so may Allah reward you bad, and then will be assigned to him a blind, deaf and mute person who holds in his hand a hammer, if a mountain is hit with it, it would disintegrate, and he will beat him with it until he becomes dust, and then Allah will render him to his initial form, and he will beat him again, and he (the wicked) will cry of sorrow and pain a cry that will be heard by all creatures except humans and jinn, and a door of hell will be opened unto him within his grave and will spread out for him sheets of hell fire]". Then he shall say: "My Lord do not bring the hour". This hadith is narrated by Ahmad Ibn Hambal, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, at-Tayalisi, and al-Hakim who said it is according to the standards of Bukhari and Muslim. This text is the text of Ahmad, all text between brackets is from the other narrators and other narrations of Ahmad. Notes (1) `illiyin: comes from the root word of `uluww which means highness. It is a place in the (highest) seventh sky where the souls of the believers are gathered (Ibn `Abbas), it also carries the meaning of a very high and wide place (Ibn Kathir). (2) Sijjin: comes from the root word of sijn which means narrowness. It is a place in the (lowest) seventh earth where the souls of the unbelievers are gathered (Ibn `Abbas), it also carries the meaning of a very low and narrow (Ibn Kathir). Reading the previous hadith one may think that the punishment of the grave is reserved only for those who did not believe in Allah or associated with him someone else in worship, lordship, creation or in his names and attributes. It is not the case! the following authentic hadith tells us more! so let us read it carefully : Ibn Abbas (Radiya Allahu `anhuma) says that the Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, once, while passing by two graves, remarked : The inmates of these two graves are being tortured not for any serious sins, but in fact they are serious sins. One of them used to carry tales [gossiping] (nameemah) and the other used not to yastatir (1) when urinating. [Bukhari and Muslim] (1) yastatir means both not covering or hiding himself from the sights of others as well as not cleaning himself after urinating.

Chapter 1: Our three main fundamentals (Our Lord, our Religion, our Prophet) *First Fundamental: knowing our LORD: 1- Our LORD is Allah the creator of all things. 2- Our LORD is known by His signs and creatures. 3- Our LORD is the only God worth to be worshipped: (I have only created Jinns and men that they may serve me). Chapter: 51 Verse: 56 4- Our LORD created man in best shape. 5- Our LORD ordered us to disbelieve in any other God but Himself. Q: For what purpose Allah had created us? A: For the purpose of worshipping Him. Q: How to worship Him? A: by full obedience to His orders and not interfering any other partner nor associate with Him. Q: What is the meaning of "No God but Allah"? A: None is worth to be worshipped except Allah. * Second Fundamental: knowing our religion: 1- Islam is obeying Allah and applying His orders [Monotheism]. 2- Islam is the religion that Allah satisfies to all people in life and in hereafter. 3- Islam is the religion that grants happiness to the person in life and hereafter. 4- Islam doesn't accept the validity of other religions. 5- Islam is the full surrender to Allah and with obedience; it's our savior from polytheism. Q: On which Islam was based on? A: Islam was based on five basic pillars: 1- Testimony there is no God but Allah and Mohammad is His Messenger Testimony or the Profession of Faith (in Arabic Shahada) which is the declaration that "there is no God but Allah; Mohammad is the His Messenger". When anyone declares Shahada, he automatically becomes a Muslim. The text of the Shahada is "I bear witness there is no God but Allah; and I bear witness that Mohammad is His Messenger" but the pronunciation must be in Arabic; in Arabic its pronounced as "Ash-hado a'lla elaha ella Allah wa ash-hado anna Mohammadan rasool Allah", without testimony a person can't be a Muslim even if he complies with the other four pillars. 2- Prayer It consists of a series of formal prostrations (in the traditions of all Prophets), genuflections, and pious statement and supplications. The prayers are in the Arabic language and require reading from the Koran (our Holy Book), and are offered five times a day – at dawn, noon, afternoon, sunset and nightfall. Prayers must be attended on time as Allah stated: (When ye pass (congregational) prayers, celebrate Allah's praises, standing, sitting down, or lying down on your sides; but when ye are free from danger, set up regular prayers: for such prayers are Enjoined on Believers at stated times) Chapter: 4 Verse: 103 Prophet Mohammad also stressed on prayers and made it the thin line between belief and disbelief as he said: (The covenant between us and those [infidels, Jews, Christians, polytheists] is prayer; whom ever leaves it he disbelieved) – narrated by Bukhari. 3- Alms-Tithe (Zakah) It is paid in kind in varying proportions according to the nature of the goods. The payment is meant for the welfare of the poor and the needy (2.5% of the capital money yearly; it was set to 2.5% because at the time of the Prophet they used to spend 25 Dinar out of 1,000). Zakah differs from charity; a small table explaining the differences and similarities between both is shown below: Alms-Tithe (Zakah) الزكاة Charity (Sadaqa) الصدقة Given annually. Given at any time. 2.5% of the capital money. No specific share; can be any amount of money It’s one of Islam pillars. It's not a pillar. Given to poor and other interests.
