Subject: Revert looking for Muslim friends. :)
Content: Asalaam Alaikum, My name is Elle, and I have been a revert for nearly a year now (Alhamdullilah), however I have not met any British females that are new to Islam like me. I have come to a point where I can only conclude that the Muslims that I am likely to come into contact with at university are either really pious individuals, or non practising. Basically, I am looking for new female Muslim friends that have reverted like me from a completely non-Muslim/religious background. Although my deen is strong and I am a much much much much much more happier and rounded person. The experiences I have come across (i.e. reactions from family and "friends" and learning the deen) can be sometimes difficult to face on my own. That is why I am looking for Muslim friends who are or have been in the same position as me, so that we can, ultimately, help and support each other. Additionally, any advise given from any Muslim will be most appreciated. Inshallah Allah will send me a like minded Muslim to converse with. Allahu Akbar!
